A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in upstate New York, Chef "Grizz" joined The Ordinary Pub shortly after its opening in 2015.  His vast culinary knowledge, unique take on cuisine, and willingness to embrace the pubs "reimagined pub fare" style has lead to an impressive culinary culture this little neighborhood pub can be proud of.  

The father of twins he calls "Pub Cubs" and a habitual professor of all things culinary to anyone that will listen, he explains boiling potatoes & preparing duck confit with the same excitement and vigor. Chef Grizz has embraced the challenge of serving a full "gastrobrunch" everyday until he and his team tear apart the kitchen and reset as a fully functioning gastropub that serves reimagined pub fare inspired from all over the world.

We call her Carl 

Caroline has been with us since before we opened in 2015.  As the bar manager of The Ordinary Pub, Caroline Lecomte has brought her own unique take on reimagined pub fare to crafted cocktails. A well traveled bartender with diverse experience, “Carl” spent her first years bartending learning as many different styles as possible.  From country bars to casual fine dining this self-described “bourbon gal” admits she became enamored with bartending right away.

The daughter of a Frenchmen, she spent her childhood visiting her grandparents in France regularly. Her understanding and passion of French cuisine created a bond with our classically French trained Chef Grizz right away, leading to the two collaborating on recipes. This culinary influence on her cocktails adds an extra layer of depth to an already well thought out and executed menu. 

Carl’s bar culture at The Ordinary Pubs bar makes guests feel at home  while challenging their perceived crafted cocktail boundaries. Featured in South magazine's June-July 2018 issue, she and her team of bartenders are excited to pour their next cocktail for you.
